Junior Communications Specialist for Walldorf next to Heidleberg

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Junior Communications specialist with an expected duration of 24 month plus extension. The position is based in Walldorf and start date should be asap.
Given the strategic nature of our clients work, they need a strong communicator to support the department on a broad range of communication disciplines. We offer a highly challenging and fun job in a start-up environment while being part of an international industry leader’s network.
All of the following tasks and activities will be closely aligned with the unit’s management and the Global Communications department at the headquarters:
 Classical media work such as the organization of media interviews, events, relationship management, production of articles and other press materials
 Project communication in close cooperation with our development teams and our project partners
 Leverage internal communication channels to enhance the visibility of our unit within the company
 Responsibility for our website and social media appearance in terms of content and form
 Management support with speeches and presentations
 Organization and support of internal and external events

Skills

 Bachelor or Master Degree in communications OR a degree in a related field like social sciences or economics with related practical communications experiences (internships, freelance activities, etc.) in the area of pr or corporate communication
 Graduate or first working experiences (in a corporate communications department, pr agency, as a journalist or blogger, etc.)
 Experience with social media
 Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and German
 Confident personality with the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
 Networking skills
