Procurement Specialist (m/w)

On behalf of our client we are looking for a supply chain manager to support the purchasing department in Walldorf next to Heidelberg. Anticipated start date is asap. Our client is an international successful software company.
Tasks:
 Negotiates new contracts or renegotiates existing contracts to gain savings for SAP.Exercises sound and ethical judgment in contract negotiations (including terms and conditions) to leverage highest level of quality at lowest cost
 Has understanding of purchasing tools and is able to adapt them.
 Supports and implements programs and strategies - to meet savings and other purchasing goals and to enhance purchasing related processes
 Ensures compliance to the SAP Global Purchasing Policy and maintains all necessary documents to ensure transparency and audit compliance.
 Executes sourcing projects on a local and global level according to establish project plans
 Provides expertise to purchasing project teams and participates in purchasing cross functional initiatives
 Consolidates reporting from categories/ legal entities
 Determines best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives within broadly defined policies and practices
 Will work closely with other members of Services and HR Category to assist with complex negotiations as well as cross functional projects
 Builds a strong cooperation with other teams

Skills:
• Educational level Bachelor degree
- Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point – advanced knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of Purchasing Processes (Procure to Pay)
- Excellent knowledge of Procurement and Business Administration
- 2- 4 years Procurement related experience, including sourcing and contract negotiation within Service related areas (ie. Development, Application Consulting, Financial, Strategy & Business Consulting, Legal, IT Infrastructure)
- very good Germany, English (Fluent)
