Project Leader AE Fasten (m/f) asap longterm contract

On behalf of our client in Frankfurt area we are looking for a project leader AE Fasten. Start date is asap and it is a longterm contract.

Your Task
• Works in the department “Application Engineering – Fasten” regarding our clients couplings and connectors
• Responsible for the completion of AE Fasten projects according to our clients process and within the defined costs, timeline and specification
• Functional leadership of project teams, including the coordination of – and ensuring the – team activities
• Frequent project reviews with project-team, supervisor and customer
• Controlling and/or participating in the continuous improvement of our clients products and processes, such as via VA/VE and Kaizen projects
• In the role of “product champion”: supports product implementation in other projects and is responsible for the continuous up-dating of product know-how and design
• Participates in Product Development projects as a team member or project manager
• Supports the quality department regarding quality complaints from customers, suppliers and our clients plants
• Follows and implements our clients values and targets as defined by the Group processes, including the Group Values, Code of Conduct and the Employee Target System
• Continuous improvement of self-knowledge, for instance via trainings, seminars and/or additional tasks outside of the key Application Engineering assignments

Your profile
• Formal university education in engineering, automotive or similar
• Familiar with the design and production of metal components
• Experience in project management, preferably in the automotive market
