Mechanical Electronic Engineer for Aachen asap with Automotive experience
On behalf of our client we are looking for an engineer in Aachen for a long term project.
Tasks:
• Development of new Xenon Automotive Bulb with fully integrated electronics, focus on mechanical part
• Overall coordination of mechanical topics, internally and externally with suppliers (housing, mechanical interfaces to reflector and between electronics parts)
• Organizing/moderating/participating of/in design workshops, internally and externally
• Value Engineering and analyses of current concepts
• Review of design ideas and drawings by suppliers, generation of thorough feedback and counterproposals
• Creation of specification documents to our suppliers
• Coordination and execution of development tests as well as validation w.r.t. mechanical properties
• Support mechanical related customer requests
• Definition of production processes and support in ramp-up phase, internally and externally
• Tolerance analyses

Requirement:
• university degree (M.Sc.) in mechanical engineering
• 5 years of professional experience as development engineer
• experience in 3D CAD construction required, Unigraphics is highly preferred
• experience in Automotive product design, or other cost sensitive area with mass production
• experience in mechanical aspects of electronic units is preferred
• • Business fluent German and Englishis a must
• Willingness to travel (~15%)
