Our client is a leading automotive company in Frankfurt am Main area. They are looking for a team manager with an engineering background and test experience asap.
With your strong experience in the testing of metal and/or plastic components and systems, you lead the European central test lab and prototyping in Frankfurt area. You standardize testing activities/equipment/procedures including ISO accreditation in Europe and ensure the distribution of knowledge, high quality working practices and reproducibility of measurements throughout the region. In addition to identifying opportunities for future testing activities, you coordinate testing strategies.
As a suitable candidate, you can demonstrate the following qualities:
• Formal education in engineering, automotive or similar
• Experience in the testing of metal and/or plastic components, including data acquisition and statistical methods
• A strong personality which can provide clear direction and define responsibilities and priorities for the team
• Competent in concisely defining problems and formulating solutions to management and colleagues
• Good English language skills are essential and a previous leadership role is advantageous
