On behalf of our international client we are looking for a procurement specialist with following skill set / for following tasks:

• University degree preferably in Translation studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Advance degree in a related field or equivalent preferred
• Excellent knowledge of German and English is a must (applicants do NOT have to be native speakers of English) other Languages are of advantage
• Interested in topics such as strategic purchasing, process optimization, translation
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with focus on negotiation, communication, analytical and problem-solving
• Good knowledge of both 3rd party (and ideally SAP) translation tools and processes
• Good understanding of the geopolitical, cultural and economic factors in the EMEA region or APJ region
• Act on own initiative and as part of a team
• Assertiveness
• Excellent Project Management Skills
• Knowledge in procuring Language Services, 3rd Parties services and different other Professional Services subcategories, including outsourcing to service providers
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate into purchasing requirements
• Apply advanced purchasing knowledge to execute sourcing projects
