On behalf of our client we are looking for our international successful client in Walldorf for IT support. The position should start asap and is until the end of the year.

Overall description:
Availability of our products in local languages is a key success factor for selling our software globally. With 200 employees in more than 20 locations, the department provides translation and translation-related services for all Software Solutions and non-coded assets into 39 languages.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Develop technical solutions and tools that support process automation, improve the translation process and bring the translation tools to the next technological level
• Analyze, define, code, and document new requirements for translation data, workflow, business processes.
• Understand user requirements, align requirements among different user groups and teams
• Influence users to adopt aligned technical solution to achieve user goals and limit development complexity
• Iteratively architect (and revise architecture) based on emergent requirements/existing architecture
• Provide estimates for assigned work.
• Coordinate testing, integration and documentation of solution
• Maintain developer documentation
• Develop and maintain additional internal tools and scripts to support and improve the localization process.
• Troubleshooting with respect to system failure in the production environment, including communications with affected users as required.
• Perform knowledge sharing with other developers

EDUCATION & SKILLS
• Undergraduate, Masters, or PhD degree in computer science
• Expert level in Java, VB, C# and C++; WebDynpro
• Expert in database design
• Knowledge of TMS (translation management systems) and CAT (computer aided translation) tools
• Good knowledge in I18N processes (such as java I18N processes)
