On behalf of our client we are looking for our international successful client in Walldorf for language support. The position should start asap and is until the end of the year.

Overall description:
Availability of our products in local languages is a key success factor for selling our software globally. With 200 employees in more than 20 locations, the department provides translation and translation-related services for all Software Solutions and non-coded assets into 39 languages.

Expectations & tasks:
• Plan translation: scheduling, scope definition, volume forecast
• Develop and maintain project pipeline
• Prepare and monitor preparation of translation activities (file analysis, system preparations)
• Execute translation projects (use standard tools, schedule phases, monitor the project progress in order to meet all deliverables, anticipate obstacles, update regularly, keep an excellent project overview, ensure transparency in all aspects of the project, document critical events, keep all stakeholders informed about the project status, act as a central point of information)
• Provide on-time support
• Deliver complete project in time
• Evaluate project. Analyze information and provide effective solutions to problems, provide feedback and lessons learned to involved parties
• Share project learning with team
• Actively participate in process improvement activities

Work experience:
• Several years’ experience in the localization/translation industry (language service provider or buyer)
• Previous work experience in a technical translation position is an asset
• Technical background and understanding of SAP software logistic processes would be desirable

Skills & competencies:
• Master’s degree in translation, computational linguistics, computer science or a related field
