Communication Specialist until the end of the year next to Heidel

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Communications specialist with an expected duration until the end of the year plus extension. The position is based in Walldorf / St Leon Rot and start date should be asap.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Drive the overall delivery of the Global IT information services plan, with the focus on Infrastructure Services, ensuring that communication is consistent and aligned with overall Global IT communication plan as determined.
• Support in expanding the use of social media as an upward, downward, and lateral communication channel. Our goal is to use social media tools and techniques to increase the number of Global IT employees in an ongoing virtual, constructive dialogue.
• Editor and coordinator for homepages of Corporate Portal pages (Intranet) for IT Infrastructure related workspaces.
• Support of strategic development topics. As a member of the Global IT Information Services team, support overall employee engagement activities and support the development of best-practices for Global IT internal employee communication.
• Support in the preparation of the Runs program – focus on IT Infrastructure Services – in developing and preparing Runs customer meetings and presentations.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Diploma or BA in Business Administration/PR or related area desired (or equivalent education)
• Experienced in social media (conceptual)
• Excellent writing and editing skills for online media
• Experienced in working in virtual, intercultural international teams
• Strong networking skills and ability to motivate people outside of direct reporting lines
